Alternate Commander is a desktop program that runs entirely on your computer. It has no servers and no analytics, and the author does not receive any of your data.
If you choose to connect Google Drive or Dropbox, the program asks the service for access to your files after you sign in and press Allow in your browser. Your files are transferred directly between your computer and Google or Dropbox; they never pass through any server of the author. The program uses this access only to show, copy, create, rename and delete files when you ask it to.
After sign-in the program stores only an access token on your computer, encrypted with your operating system's secure storage. You can remove it at any time by deleting the saved connection in the program, or by revoking access in your Google account or Dropbox account.
The use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
